A institution called Middlesex University is located in Hendon, northwest London, England. It is situated inside the Middlesex historical county limits, from which it derives its name. It belongs to the Million+ working group and is one of the newer universities. Middlesex may trace its roots back to the 19th century, as is the case with many former polytechnics, although it wasn't properly organized as a teaching institution until 1973.
