The University of Ottawa, sometimes known as uOttawa or U of O, is a multilingual public research university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its French name is Université d'Ottawa. The main campus is situated in the Sandy Hill neighborhood, 42.5 hectares (105 acres) directly northeast of Downtown Ottawa and across the Rideau Canal.
