Introduction

In St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, Brock University is a public research institution. It is the only institution in Canada located in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, on the Niagara Escarpment in the middle of Canada's Niagara Peninsula. Maj.-General Sir Isaac Brock, who was in charge of defending Upper Canada from the United States during the War of 1812, is the name of the university. At the undergraduate and graduate levels, Brock provides a huge selection of programs, including professional degrees.
