Private university BPP University focuses on the study of law, business, finance, accounting, banking, dentistry, chiropractic, nursing, psychology, and healthcare. BPP University has locations around the UK's city centers, but mainly in London. BPP Holdings, a division of the US-based for-profit education business Apollo Group, has owned and operated it since 2009.

The BPP University School of Foundation and English Language Studies, BPP University School of Health, BPP University School of Law, and BPP University School of Business are the four schools that make up the UK degree-awarding institution.

In November, the university received two awards from Education Investor magazine: the "Higher/Professional Education Provider of the Year 2013" award and the "Post-16 Education Provider of the Year" award from 2010.
