Introduction

South-west London's Roehampton neighborhood is home to three major campuses of the University of Roehampton, originally known as the Roehampton Institute of Higher Education. Former equal partner in the now-defunct Federal University of Surrey, Roehampton (along with the original University of Surrey in Guildford). The University of Surrey Roehampton changed its name to Roehampton University on August 1, 2004. The university has been known as University of Roehampton since 2011. Its official name is still Roehampton University.
